The Ghana Education Service (GES) is the body mandated for recruiting graduate teachers from the colleges of education and the various universities across the country.
However, in-terms postings, graduates from the various universities do not seems to enjoy such benefit graduates whereas their counter-parts maximumly have access to the said benefit.
The Deputy Director-General of the Ghana Education service, Lawyer Anthony Boateng has disclosed that graduates from the various universities should ready themselves for recruitment. This statement was made during the National Council Meeting of GNAT in Kumasi earlier this week.
He further explained that the recruitment of the 2019 graduates from the various colleges of education is currently underway therefore all applicants should keep their fingers cross as the postings would be released soon. He, however, assured all graduates who wish to work with the Ghana Education Service to gather all the necessary documents as the recruitment portal will soon be opened for all qualified graduates to apply.
He however, took that same medium to highlight on the issue of ‘TEACHER’S CONDITION OF SERVICE’ as he gave a tip that it has been duly completed and signed by all stakeholders. He again gave the assurance that the CONTINUOS PROFESSIONAL ALLOWANCE will be paid in October, 2020.
