The promotion aptitude exam is 75 questions and candidates are to use just an hour to answer all. It is objective test items with options 4 then you choose the correct answer
After you have applied online successfully and given your exams centre and code, the next thing is to prepare to write.
After you have successfully written your exams, what is next?
If you successfully write and pass the GES promotion aptitude exams then you will access your promotion letter or congratulatory message online. Individuals will then have to buy a voucher of 10 cedis using your momo number and your active email address. A code will be sent to your email account.
Candidates who have passed will be given a congratulatory message or a temporary promotion letter with the signature of the chairman of the National Teaching Council (NTC) on it.
If it is a temporary promotion letter print it out. However, if it is a congratulatory message, screenshot it and if you can print it out do so.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I PRINT/GET MY PROMOTION LETTER?
After you have gotten your promotion letter, the following year they will automatically put you on a scale with arrears starting from January to the month you were or are placed on the scale.
When you are placed on the scale you will start enjoying your money but do not forget to send your online promotion letter, current payslip to your IPPD coordinator to be forwarded to the regional education office and then to the headquarters. Confirmation of your promotion is very necessary because if you refuse to be confirmed you may be audited and it might affect you so when the need arises, do so.
Furthermore, when you submit your documents to the district education office it enhances the security of your rank. After one year, an official promotion letter will be given to you to confirm your success. This is where you can really boast of your promotion. Candidates are also advised to send a copy an official promotion letter to the registry to be put on your file and don’t give it to your IPPD coordinator
Lastly, individuals who will be sitting for the promotion exams will have to score 50% to be able make it to the next rank, thus, out of the 75 questions, the person should at least score 38.
