3 million students benefiting from school feeding with 1.2 million students benefiting from FSHS – Finance minister

The finance minister, Hon. Ken Ofori Atta earlier today in the First Quarter Annual Budget reading disclosed the number of Ghanaian students who have been enrolled in the Free Senior high School (FSHS).

 According to the banker, a total number of some 1.2 million Ghanaians are benefiting from the FSHS programme. He additionally denoted that 3 million schoolchildren are benefiting from the school feeding programme as well.

“Today, Mr. Speaker, some 1.2 million Ghanaians are in Senior High School, almost 3 million of our children are in the school feeding programme. We are exporting food through the Planting for food and jobs programme and 1D1F is generating jobs all around. How far indeed has the Lord brought us. This is the competence we promised Ghanaians”, He stated.
