Ewe history textbook publishers apologize for offensive publication (video)


Badu Nkansah Publications has apologized to Ghanaians for the offensive comments that had been made about Ewes in their history textbook.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Kofi Adoma on Kofi TV, Wife of the Author, Regina Badu Nkansah disclosed that, after her husband’s death two years ago, the company was on the verge of collapse so,in order to continue its legacy, they published a few of the books which are pending approval by the NACCA.

According to a Publisher,Mark Osei,unfortunately, while undergoing the review, a limited quantity of the unpublished draft found its way into the market and that has generated justified public uproar due to its offensive tone though it is not a deliberate attempt to berate such a huge section of the society.

He further stated that,their brand stands for national unity and have currently employed workers who originate from all parts of the country.

Meanwhile, they have recalled all copies in circulation with immediate effect since they have not yet met the final approvement threshold.
