GNPC Hands Over 6-Unit Classroom Facility to Sefwi Asafo Nursing Training College

Thursday, 04.03.21 – The Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) has handed over a newly constructed 6-unit classroom block with ancillary facilities to the Sefwi Asafo Nursing Training College in Sefwi Asawinso, Western North Region.

The project forms part of GNPC’s Social Investment focus of enhancing teaching and learning across the country through the provision of educational infrastructure.

Presenting the keys to the facility, Mr. Benedict Adde, Team Lead for the Environment & Social Amenities Unit of the GNPC Foundation, tasked the school’s authority to institute measures in ensuring satisfactory maintenance.

Mrs. Yaa Frema, Principal of the school, noted that the school was in dire need of an infrastructural lift and thanked the GNPC Foundation for the support; assuring that the facility would be put to its intended use and under proper care.

She, however, made further appeals for assistance in the provision of an ICT lab and a hostel facility.
