The management of the University of Cape Coast has shut down its community schools indefinitely.
This is due to a strike action embarked on by the Senior Staff Association of the Universities of Ghana of which their staff members are part.
In a press release sighted by listengh.net, all basic schools (KG, Primary, JHS, and North Campus) will be closed from Monday 25th January 2021 until further notice.
The management of the university had however expressed its regrets to the general public for any inconveniences caused by the situation.
