This is mainly to cater for the 41, 359 students who were disqualified and as a result could not access placement.
On Monday, March 1, 2021, the National Coordinator of the Computerized School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS), Mark Sasu Mensah in an interview on Joy News’s AM Show indicated that students who were disqualified can have the chance to be placed by resitting for the private BECE. He indicated that they will liase with the exam council to make sure that the registration date is extended to enable the 41, 359 disqualified candidates take part in the registration process.
In view of the above, the exam Council, WAEC has extended the 2021 private BECE registration date to Friday, 19th of March, 2021.
