The Minister of Education, Hon. Mathew Opoku Prempeh has made a disclosure about newly trained teachers’ postings for the 2019 college graduates. He made this revelation during an interview on Peace FM’s Kokrokoo Morning Show with Kwame Sefa-Kayi.
He admitted that he has actually missed the said date announced by him which was supposed to be Monday, 23rd November 2020. He attributed this failure to the new method of posting and distributing teachers across the various district and schools and therefore urged the 2017, 2018, and 2020 batch of college graduates to expect their postings by this week.
“The Ghana Education Service (GES) has assured me of postings this week”, he added. He however explained that the November to remember comment was a comment associated with professional allowance and not postings and payment of legacy arrears issues.
newly trained teachers are however urged to check out the procedures, requirements, and how to access their appointment letters online. CLICK HERE TO GET THE PROCEDURES
