The National Teaching Council (NTC) has opened the status check portal to enable persons who wish to acquire licensure certificates to know their status.
The National Teaching Council the body mandated by the Education Act 2008 (Act 778), section 9 to improve the professional standing and status of teachers and to license and register teachers in Ghana.
According to the NTC, persons who offered educational related courses and wish to work with the Ghana Education Service must acquire a licensure certificate through the NTC by writing the Ghana Teacher Licensure Exam (GTLE).
Therefore, the council has opened its portal to enable individuals to confirm their status to know whether they would be qualified to apply when the portal is opened earlier this year.
Interested persons should kindly log on to https://exams.ntc.gov.gh then click on CONFIRM STATUS afterward enter your index number(College index number) to see if you qualify to write.
