PUBLIC NOTICE: Beware of Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) enlistment scam-GAF cautions


The Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) announces to the general public to be wary of fake enlistment purported to be processed by the force.

This was entailed in a post made by the National Cyber Security Centre following some unscrupulous persons assuring individuals of employment into the military.

According to GAF, the deadline for the enlistment process was on Friday, February 5th, 2021 hence there is no extension of sales of application forms.

The management of the Ghana Armed Forces has however not assigned any personnel to recruit via social media platforms.

It has additionally advised the general public to check the Daily Graphic, Ghanaian Times, and the GAF online recruitment portal (https://GAF online.mil.gh) for all recruitment updates as far the Ghana Armed Forces is concerned.

However, job seekers are also advised not to entertain recruitment offers from Districts, Municipals Chief Executives, Members of Parliament and Ministers of State.

The general public is therefore urged to report any suspected GAF enlistment adverts to report@cybersecurity.gov.gh.
