UEW review its policy on writing re-sit exams-Check It out

The management of the University of Education, Winneba has reviewed its policy on writing exam re-sit.

According to the institute’s new resit policies, for a level 100 student to progress to level 200 he or she must:

  1. Attain a minimum of Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 1.0
  2. Not trail in more than two courses at the end of the academic year after re-sit.

Also, a fresh student who fails up to three courses at the end of the first semester exams shall be allowed to progress to the second semester. Meanwhile, any fresh student who fails more than three courses at the end of the semester exams shall be completely withdrawn from the university with an option to re-apply.

However, any fresher who trails up to three courses at the end of the academic year shall be given the opportunity to re-sit. Any level 100 student who trails in three courses after re-sit shall repeat or re-apply to another department. Finally, a fresh student who trails in more than three courses after re-sit shall repeat or re-apply.
