Upload your proof of rank-NTC to teachers, procedures


The National Teaching Council (NTC) is advising all teachers to revisit their various portal to upload their proof of rank. Earlier this year all in-service teachers were directed to register for automatic generation of numbers without any exams being written.

All teachers are to take note that without your rank, you cannot be given a license and therefore it is obligatory for every in-service teacher to partake in this exercise.

From Listengh.net‘s observation, many teachers visited internet cafes for the registration to be done for them. We will advise you visit the same café for them to update your details for you. However, individuals who registered using their smartphones will just have to follow the procedures below to update their details:

  1. Log on to https://tpg.ntc.gov.gh
  2. Enter your credentials (Email and Password)

Individuals are to note that, an authentication code will be sent via the email you used in logging in (open your email accounts and check in the spam folder)Copy and paste the authentication code in the required area to authenticate your account.

3.Select continue to profile set-up

4. At the personal information dashboard, scroll downwards to select YOUR RANK AND YEAR OF FIRST PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION

5. Navigate to FILES and upload you’re your PROOF OF RANK and FIRST PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION. Files must be in a pdf format.



  1. Please I tried to register the in-service teachers portal but I couldn’t complete it after I entered my staff ID and submitted it. Unfortunately I have forgotten the email I used for that. I have created another email but the
    new one can’t be used to access it. Whenever I login to the portal after filling the template for submittion the response I am getting is that, the staff ID is already verified.
    Please is there another way out?
