WAEC cautions 2020 candidates to be wary of fraudsters who promise to upgrade results

 The West African Examination Council (WAEC) has released the 2020 West African Senior High School Examination (WASSCE) Results. This was contained in a press release signed by the Head of Public Affairs, Mrs. Agnes Teye-Cudjoe. The statement however gives a performance statistics breakdown of the candidates passes and failure.

According to the press release, the council is cautioning all educational stakeholders especially candidates to be wary of fake results websites and the activities of fraudsters who promise to upgrade WASSCE results for a fee. Candidates are however advised to note that all WAEC results are to note that all WAEC results are secured and cannot be authenticated. The council is therefore urging all institutions to always verify results presented to them to expose incidents of forgery.
